Geoffrey Mulligan | Scaffolding training manager at PERI

Geoffrey has been in the trade since more than 4 decades, having been a registered scaffolder in the UK since the 80s. He has worked for 20 years in major projects in Europe and the Midle East as scaffold foreman, doing tube and coupler scaffolding.

In 2004 he became a registered instructor with CISRS and began to work as a scaffolding trainer with CITB (Construction Industry training Board) in London (UK). He learnt soon to deliver CISRS scaffolding training that covered the 10 day Part 1, and Part 2.

He became then NVQ registered trainer in both tube & Coupler scaffolding and modular systems. These training courses were delivered complying with CISRS certification, and NVQ Diploma qualification. As registered NVQ scaffolding assessor he worked with City & Guilds for the CITB training provider CSkills (Construction Skills)  and progressed within CITB to deliver management training courses for basic and advanced inspection training for Tube and coupler using TG20 from NASC  as well as full working at height training from UK HSE.

Later he worked in Brunei setting up the Joffren Omar Co Sdn Bhd in Brunei for CITB & Royal Dutch Shell. He also managed all the scaffolding requirements for the Shell Prelude FLNG turret mooring system constructed in Dubai under license with SBM offshore, among other projects.

In 2015 he became the lead scaffolding product specialist for West Anglia Training Center in the UK, a busy CISRS/NVQ scaffolding training center in the UK.

In 2018 Geoffrey started working in PERI Malaysia, playing an important part of implementing our  CISRS training centre in Malaysia which adds in a wide range of technical trainings for formwork and scaffold, provided by PERI in Malaysia.

Due to his extensive experience, the training courses provided by Geoffrey receive always a remarkable feedback from the participants who join his sessions.
